Our podcast production process

A transparent, step-by-step look at how we turn your raw ideas into polished, professional episodes that audiences love.

From concept to listeners, in six steps

Every project follows a proven workflow that balances creative freedom with production rigour. Here is exactly what happens when you partner with TrustPod Globe.

1

Discovery call

Everything begins with a free 30-minute discovery call. During this conversation, we learn about your podcast concept, target audience, content goals and preferred format. We ask questions about your brand voice, the topics you want to explore and the frequency at which you plan to release episodes. This call is informal and pressure-free — its purpose is simply to understand your vision and determine whether we are the right fit for each other. By the end, we will have a clear picture of your needs and will be ready to prepare a tailored proposal.

2

Strategy and planning

Following the discovery call, our creative director and growth strategist collaborate to build a comprehensive podcast strategy document. This includes your show format (solo, interview, panel, narrative), episode structure and length, branding guidelines for cover art and music, a content calendar for your first season and a distribution plan identifying the platforms and promotional channels best suited to your audience. We present this strategy to you for feedback and iterate until you are fully satisfied before moving into production.

3

Recording

With the strategy approved, it is time to record. If you are recording remotely, we provide detailed guidance on microphone placement, room acoustics and recording software settings. For clients who prefer in-studio sessions, we welcome you to our Scotland-based facility where our engineers handle all technical setup. We also facilitate remote guest recordings using high-fidelity platforms that capture separate audio tracks for each participant, ensuring maximum flexibility during editing. Every session is backed up immediately to our secure cloud storage.

4

Editing and post-production

This is where the magic happens. Our editors remove filler words, long pauses, background noise and any technical glitches. They then assemble the episode with your custom intro, outro and transition music. Sound levels are balanced, EQ is applied to enhance vocal clarity and compression ensures a consistent listening experience across devices — from earbuds to car speakers. If your show includes segments, chapters or ad slots, we build those in as well. You receive a draft for review and we incorporate your feedback before finalising.

5

Show notes and metadata

Great audio is only half the equation. Our content writers craft detailed show notes for each episode, including a compelling summary, key takeaways, guest bios, timestamped chapter markers and relevant links. We also write SEO-optimised episode titles and descriptions to help your show rank in podcast directories and search engines. Proper ID3 tags and metadata are embedded into every audio file, ensuring your episodes display correctly on every platform.

6

Distribution and promotion

Once the episode is approved, we publish it through your RSS feed to all major podcast platforms simultaneously. But distribution does not stop at publishing. We create audiogram clips for social media, design quote cards, write newsletter copy and coordinate cross-promotion with complementary podcasts in your niche. We monitor download analytics, listener demographics and engagement trends, providing you with a monthly performance report and actionable recommendations to keep your audience growing episode after episode.

The tools behind our podcast workflow

We use industry-leading tools at every stage of production. Recording is handled through platforms like Riverside.fm and Zencastr for remote sessions, while our studio runs Pro Tools and Logic Pro X. Editing and mixing leverage iZotope RX for noise reduction, Auphonic for automated levelling and Adobe Audition for detailed waveform editing. Distribution is managed through Buzzsprout and Podbean, with analytics powered by Chartable and Spotify for Podcasters. Our content team uses Notion for project management and Canva alongside Adobe Illustrator for visual assets.

This technology stack is continuously evaluated and updated. When a better tool emerges, we test it rigorously before incorporating it into our workflow. Our clients benefit from cutting-edge capabilities without needing to learn or pay for any of these tools themselves — it is all included in our service.

Ongoing support beyond launch

Our relationship does not end when your first episode goes live.

Many podcast production companies focus exclusively on the launch phase and leave creators to fend for themselves afterwards. At TrustPod Globe, we take a fundamentally different approach. We view every podcast as a long-term partnership, and our support continues for as long as you need it.

After your podcast is established, we offer quarterly strategy reviews where we analyse listener data, identify emerging trends in your niche and recommend content adjustments to keep your show relevant and engaging. We help you navigate monetisation options including sponsorship outreach, dynamic ad insertion and premium subscriber content. If you decide to expand into video podcasting or live events, our team has the expertise to guide that transition seamlessly.

We also provide ongoing technical maintenance for your RSS feed, hosting account and platform listings. If Apple Podcasts changes its submission requirements or Spotify introduces a new feature, we handle the updates so you never have to worry about the technical side. Our goal is to free you to focus entirely on creating exceptional content while we manage everything else behind the scenes.
